How does Desiree's sweet table differ to a traditional sweet table?
Desiree's dessert table is customized to fit the theme and colors of your event, both in the display and the product itself. We believe your party should reflect your personality. That is why we work very closely with each client to capture what it is that would be a total expression of you. We take pride in ensuring each sweet table is individually customized. Our goal is not only to make sure every one is unique but to always create that "WOW" factor.

First, the chocolate dipped items your guests will be enjoying are guaranteed to be fresh, made just moments before eating them. Second, the process of dipping and decorating becomes part of the entertainment allowing everyone to enjoy watching the confections being created… LIVE! Third, Desiree and her staff are dipping and serving at the station throughout your party thus ensuring that the display is always fresh and replenished!

How is Desiree able to serve such a large variety of chocolates and desserts all on one display?
All of Desiree's chocolates are served as individual "finger food" portions. Our desserts are all baked as individual minis thus allowing each guest to try a large variety of our "bite-size pieces of bliss". We love it when guests just keep coming back for more!

What ingredients does Desiree use?
Desiree’s chocolate is a creamy blend imported from Belgium. All of her fillings and desserts are made with the highest quality and freshest ingredients available. There is no trans fat or preservatives used and everything is made as close as possible to the date of your event.

Does Desiree make desserts other than chocolate-dipped items?
Absolutely! Although chocolate is her specialty, Desiree is a pastry chef at heart. She creates an array of gourmet desserts, cookies, pastries and pops to complement the chocolate dipping station. To view some of these selections please visit Desiree's Dessert Menu.

Can items be customized for a specific event?
Of course! One of the key elements to Desiree's approach is that every event is unique, thus allowing for flexibility and customization. You may select the theme and colors for your display, the items to be dipped and the chocolate flavors you desire. The entire sweet table can be created to coordinate with the specific theme and nature of your party. Every party should be created differently, thus making it an expression of YOU.

What items does the Chocolate Dipping Station include?
A large assortment of confections with various fillings dipped in milk, dark and white chocolate. To view the chocolate dipped items please visit Desiree's Chocolate Menu. For a small additional charge, Desiree also offers the option of adding any of her gourmet desserts to the Chocolate Station.

How much of the chocolate dipping is actually done on site?
Basically all the items that are just dipped in chocolate….strawberries, bananas, grapes, apricots, pretzels, Oreos, marshmallows, potato chips, etc. Any of the confections that have a filling (i.e. caramel apples, toffee, truffles) and all the miniature baked goods are made prior to the event.

What does Desiree’s provide at the event?
Just about everything! This includes the chocolate tempering machines, displays, props, lighting, elevations, serving pieces and, of course, all the chocolates and desserts. Desiree also brings her own staff with her, typically 3-5 staff members depending on the size of your party. All your venue would need to provide us with are the tables, linens, skirting, guest serving plates and napkins.

Who does the actual Chocolate Dipping?
Although the Chocolate Station is an extremely visual experience, Desiree and her staff do all of the dipping and decorating. This prevents the chocolate from becoming messy and more importantly, allows everything to be kept hygienic and sanitary. The staff are all dressed in professional chef's attire and wear gloves at all times.
